Those who remit contributions in this manner will not be consid-ered as members. Consequently, they will not be eligible for any benefits from the Board.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Question: What is the current monthly rate of the Welfare Board contribution?<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Answer: If the employee&#8217;s total gross salary\/commission is below \u20b915,000, the contribution is \u20b9150. If it is \u20b915,000 or above, the contribution is \u20b9250. For both categories, the institution&#8217;s matching contribution is \u20b9150. (Effective from 22-02-2024)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Question: Is medical financial assistance available from the Welfare Board?<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Answer: Yes, it is available. If member employees or their dependents undergo treatments that are included in the medical schedule of the Board Rules, medical financial assistance will be granted subject to prescribed conditions.<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Question: Is death financial assistance available from the Welfare Board?<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Answer: Yes, it is available. financial assistance will be granted to the dependents of members who pass away while in service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Question: What other welfare benefits are available to members?<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Answer: * Educational encouragement Cash Awards for children.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Annual educational scholarships up to the age of 18 for the children of employees who die while in service.<\/li>\n<li>Upon retirement from service, the total contribution remitted to the Board along with a 10% incentive will be refunded to the employee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Question: For which courses have Cash Awards been instituted?<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Answer: * SSLC, Plus-Two (including CBSE, ICSE, ISC): Full A+ \/ A1 \/ Grade 1. <br \/>\n\u2022 JDC, HDC &amp; BM, and Co-operation as an optional subject in all other De-gree\/Postgraduate degrees: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd ranks at the State level. <br \/>\n\u2022 B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing: 1st rank at the State level. <br \/>\n\u2022 Professional Degree Courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BVSc: 1st rank at the State level.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Question: Apart from educational courses, are Cash Awards instituted for any other categories?<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Answer: Yes.
